Contributor Agreement
By submitting articles, photographs, or other content (“Content”) to Atlas FLX (“Website”), you (“Contributor”) agree to the following terms:
1. Ownership and License
You retain full copyright in your Content. By submitting Content, you grant the Website a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, modify, and adapt the Content, in whole or in part, in any format or medium.
2. Originality and Rights
You represent and warrant that:
- The Content is your original work.
- You hold all rights necessary to grant this license.
- The Content does not infringe on the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
- You have obtained appropriate permissions or releases for any identifiable individuals or third-party materials included in the Content.
3. Editorial Control
You acknowledge that the Website may edit, format, or otherwise modify your Content at its discretion, and that such modifications do not require your review or approval.
4. Attribution
The Website may, but is not required to, credit you as the author or photographer of the Content, using your name or a provided pseudonym.
5. Non-Exclusivity
You are free to publish or license the Content elsewhere at any time, including before or after publication on the Website.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Website, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from or related to your Content.
7. No Compensation
You understand and agree that your contribution is voluntary and you will not receive any compensation, monetary or otherwise, for the submission or use of your Content.
8. Moral Rights Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights you may have in the Content, including the right to object to derogatory treatment or to require that your name be associated with the Content.
9. Timeliness and Accuracy
You represent that the Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge at the time of submission and does not include any intentionally misleading information.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pennsylvania for any disputes related to this Agreement.
11. Changes to Agreement
The Website may update this Contributor Agreement from time to time. We will notify contributors of material changes. Continued submission of Content after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Contributor Information
By submitting Content, you may be asked to provide personal information (such as your name or contact details). This information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Atmosphere
- At more serious wineries, tastings can be very informative and educational, where you learn about their winemaking process and what makes them unique. You may get to try single-vineyard or vintage tastings for comparison. There's usually not a lot of distractions from the wine.
- Other wineries are more about kicking back and enjoying the vibe. They may offer more than just wine, like beer or wine slushies. The wine labels could feature fun characters or themes, and there’s often live music.

Group Friendly
- The maximum group size the winery will accept without reservations. Typically, this number is 6-8.
- The maximum group size the winery will accept with reservations. This varies greatly, but many wineries will accept up to 12 if you contact them and make arrangements. Some wineries accept much larger groups.
- Are buses and limos allowed on the property? Many wineries do not allow buses and limos in their parking lot.
- Does the winery have enough indoor space for groups? Often, wineries accept groups, but they must sit outdoor, which isn't ideal in inclement weather.
- Does the winery have dedicated space for groups? It's nice for large groups to have their own room.
- Does the winery provide guided tastings for groups, or is it self-guided flights only?
Location
- Proximity to other wineries. Our website primarily focuses on planning winery tours, so we consider it advantageous when wineries are located in clusters and within around 15 minutes of each other.
- On the main route. Most of the lakes have a main route or trail along each shore that visitors generally follow when touring wineries. We give higher rating to wineries with an entrance on that route. If a winery isn't on the main route, we consider how far off the route it is, and whether there are signs on the route directing you when to turn.
- Well-marked and easy to find. Is the entrance easy to spot, or could you miss it? If you were just driving along the main route without a specific destination, would the winery catch your eye?

- Lake, vineyard, or both. This is the most important factor, and the best views will include both the lake and vineyard.
- Perspective. Some wineries are close to the lake and at a low elevation, so you don't get as wide or far a view.
- Obstructions. Is it a clear view, or is it obstructed by trees or houses?
- Roads and parking. Roads and parking areas detract from the quality of the view.
