Paul and Jenn launched Atlas FLX in the summer of 2024 out of their love and dedication to the Finger Lakes region and its wine scene. Over the years and many winery tours, they've compiled their own set of maps, notes, and planning sheets. These have helped many family and friends plan winery tours in the area. However, they frequently saw questions on social media seeking similar help and guidance in planning trips to the area and wanted to offer their compiled knowledge to a larger audience. As technology professionals, they were in a unique position to build a website to do just that.

Atlas FLX is not just a wine blog or winery review site. We aim to categorize and quantify the area's wineries. Our small team has traveled extensively, personally visiting a large percentage of the region's wineries to gather detailed data and craft comprehensive reviews. We combine this with in-depth online research to curate detailed profiles of area wineries. By doing so, we seek to answer the most common but difficult-to-answer questions, such as...
