Location	About 10 minutes S of the Town of Skaneateles. Easy to find, well-marked. It's really the only winery in the area.
Group Friendly	Yes
Reservation/Group Policy	Private group tastings available for 25-50.
Tasting Room	Large, multiple rooms. Lots of deep wood and high ceilings—stately.
Outdoor Space	The tasting room is nice, but the outdoor seating is even better. Multiple comfortable areas, some covered, others with tables and umbrellas. Very large, nice hardscaping.
View	Overall, the grounds are impressive with immaculate landscaping. Decent view of the vineyard and the lake in the distance, although an open-air stage blocks some of it.

We think wine tasting is always fun, but some wineries take a more serious approach to the wine and tasting experience, while others focus on keeping things relaxed and fun.

At more serious wineries, tastings can be very informative and educational, where you learn about their winemaking process and what makes them unique. You may get to try single-vineyard or vintage tastings for comparison. There's usually not a lot of distractions from the wine.
Other wineries are more about kicking back and enjoying the vibe. They may offer more than just wine, like beer or wine slushies. The wine labels could feature fun characters or themes, and there’s often live music.

Most Finger Lakes wineries are dog-friendly, allowing dogs in their outdoor spaces. However, we only label a winery as 'Dog Friendly' if they welcome well-behaved, leashed dogs inside the tasting room. It's important to note that when dogs aren't allowed indoors, it's usually due to New York state health regulations, not the winery's preference.
